AI’s workover and well servicing rigs integrate the latest advances in oilfield technology to make recovering oil and gas safer and more efficient. These technologies have also been applied in potash solution mining and forest fire mitigation. AI’s equipment requires less personnel, increases safety, is more environmentally responsible, and provides the required analytic monitoring that has been evolving in an array of industries over the last 15 years. The demand for automated equipment, specifically in energy and gas services industry, has accelerated dramatically since 2023.

Manufactured completely in the company’s facilities, the equipment undergoes extensive stress testing and meets industry standards established by API and the International Standards Organization (ISO). Rigs

Automated from the 55-ton well service rig that can run 365-days per year all the way up to all electric 1,500 hp rigs AI has it covered. Our rig product line is extensive, providing everything from simple rod jobs to heavy drilling, in the most challenging operating conditions in the world.

Topdrives

Adding this technology to well service rigs allows contractors on-the-fly ability to trip pipe, drill, mill, and maintain well control. Topdrives offer the single most advanced upgrade in well service rigs, improving their efficiency more than any other piece of equipment.

Power Catwalks

Also becoming a standard in the industry, they enable well service contractors hands-free, remote pipe management, from the well bore to ground level: a game changer for pipe-handling efficiency and safety.

Automated Power Tongs

In ‘the old days’ tubulars were made up with manual pipe wrenches (manual tongs). Hydraulic power tongs have been a standard in the industry for some time, but automated power tongs are an innovation that enables the well service contractor to make-up break-out connections at the rig floor safely, automatically, and hands-free.

Automated Drawworks

There is no faster way to trip pipe other than the original block and tackle system originally invented by Leonardo De Vinci hundreds of years ago. All our rigs feature hydraulic, mechanical, or electric driven drawworks. We combine this technology with rack and pinion and snubbing systems to maintain tripping speed.

Snubbing Systems

With the evolution of well bores, downhole friction, and downhole pressures, AI has developed snubbing units to work stand-alone, or integrated into well service rigs. This does two things: it saves over 40% of costs required to kill a well, and lowers the carbon footprint by reducing water requirements and equipment intervention to bring wells back online.

Controls

With ESG and safety, the need for fail-safe controls are a necessity. All our products, whether integrated into new or traditional equipment, are installed with safety interlocks to protect people and equipment from harm.

Well Control

Rod BOPs, tubing BOPs, shearable RAM BOPs, choke manifolds, you name it; AI provides its clients with a complete well control system as standalone or bundled with the rigs. Up to 13-5/8 in. and 10,000 psi working pressure.

Artificial lift

As part of oil recovery, AI has the lowest cost hydraulic artificial lift pumping units in the world; low cost to purchase and low cost to operate, with full PLC and monitoring options. This gives the E&P lower operating costs and higher profits when extracting hydrocarbons.
