ESG Focus
With the advent of ESG, the oil and gas industry is transitioning to safer, more responsible, and greener solutions. AI’s focus on ESG is specific to the following areas:
Safety
By developing automated equipment, the exposure of personnel to safety hazards is mitigated. By design, automation reduces human exposure to the more labour-intensive operations such as handling pipe, making/breaking connections, drilling, and tripping. Automation provides hands-free solutions for high-risk functions.
Environmental
With a focus on lowering carbon emissions, all of AI’s equipment is available as conventional mechanically driven machines and complete electrified equipment. This includes natural gas driven equipment, hybrid power generation, and complete battery power.
Social
AI has partnered with Indigenous partners worldwide on our manufacturing processes and with customers. This further extends to “build-local.” AI designs and manufactures the equipment modules from our headquarters in Canada then sends it in cost-effective lower carbon footprint sea-containers to the respective regions where our customers operate. Equipment Training and Global Aftermarket Support for Every Project
Every project, or product automatically includes personnel to provide training of equipment prior to it leaving the facility. This primarily includes hand-on operations of the equipment at our facility prior to mobilization to the field.
At AI designated facilities, our technicians stay current with equipment operation, service and repair knowledge, and skills, to better serve customers. Aftermarket support is the value-added promise fulfilled on every unit of AI manufactured equipment, wherever it is put into service around the globe.
Commissioning
After completion, our staff is available to follow the mobilization into the field.
Training
AI offers operation & maintenance prior to and after project delivery. With our well service and snubbing partners, we offer strategic real-life “on-the-job” training opportunities to broaden the experience for our customers. This includes:
- Live well snubbing on underbalanced wells with experienced snubbing coaches
- Automated equipment well servicing with experienced drillers and tool pushers
- Pipehandling equipment training
Scheduled Maintenance
AI provides its clients with an operations, maintenance, and parts manual and take it a step further. With our equipment monitoring offerings, maintenance is now completed based on actual usage. Oil quality, temperature, duty cycle, etc., determines when equipment requires service, maintenance and/or repair. This monitoring solution can extend the life of machinery by over 40%.
Warranty
AI provides a standard 12-month in-service warranty term. We stand behind our equipment design and provide 24-hour service and technical support, 365-days per year. Our clients will tell you we are always here to provide video conference, phone, and in-person support when they need it.
